M0n0wall

Remarks:  As there is no major release since 2014, it is a bit too old to handle the Information Security challenges nowaday.  It is better to pick another alternative like OPNsense – which is also suggested by the founder of m0n0wall.com

M0n0wall is no longer available but it is a very powerful solution.

Concepts on the System
Today, m0n0wall can be used with platforms on this site. It can be installed on H.D. or it can run directly on CD-ROM by using the appropriate version. m0n0wall provides many features of commercial firewalls. Below are the main ones:
