The Cyber Security Staff Awareness Recognition Scheme (the Scheme), co-organised by HKIRC and ISACA, was launched in 2024 to recognise organisations for their commitment to strengthening cyber security and enhancing staff awareness. We are delighted to announce that applications are now open for the upcoming round of the Scheme for 2025.

The Digital Policy Office (DPO), the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) co-organise the “Let’s Secure as we Digitalise” webinar, in which cybersecurity experts will share the latest information, existing risks, as well as cybersecurity measures that can be adopted in the cyberworld. Through these sharings, this webinar aims to enhance the public's ability to recognise online traps and learn more about techniques for fraud prevention.

The Contest aims to allow participants to understand the importance of cybersecurity through a fun and interactive way and to further raise public awareness of cybersecurity, hoping that a collaborative platform can be built to strengthen the city's ability to combat cyberattacks.

The Cybersecurity & Diverse Innovation Symposium 2025, jointly organised by the Digital Policy Office (DPO) and the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), will bring together cybersecurity professionals, industry leaders, and public sector representatives to explore the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and collaborative strategies for digital resilience.  The symposium features keynote sessions, panel discussions and solution showcases on areas including cyber threats and innovation development, industry collaboration and ecological security, and technology-driven resilience building and AI governance. 

Cyberport, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Cybersecurity Professional Association (HKCSPA), will host the "AI x Cybersecurity Forum" on 14 May (Wednesday) at Cyberport. This forum will bring together visionary leaders, cybersecurity experts, and industry professionals to explore how to achieve secure and sustainable innovation in the AI era, and share practical strategies to tackle the evolving threat landscape.

To help enterprise development and security teams understand what they are up against, we will dive into some of the fastest growing, and most damaging, types of software supply chain attacks. We will present practical measures that enterprises can take to protect themselves against each of these specific attack vectors, and conclude with a holistic approach that enterprises can take to achieve comprehensive software supply chain security.
