The 2026 campaign continuing its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the campaign invites participation from organisations across diverse sectors and categories, with the objective of strengthening Hong Kong’s overall cybersecurity resilience.

HKCERT Capture The Flag Challenge 2026, jointly organised by the Digital Policy Office (DPO), the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), is now in its seventh edition and has grown into one of Hong Kong’s largest and most prestigious cybersecurity competitions.

Under the theme "AI Security and Resilience, Outpacing Advanced Threats," the "Hong Kong Cyber Trust & Future Readiness Seminar 2027" will bring together cybersecurity experts, industry stakeholders and service providers to exchange insights on AI security, emerging cyber risks and the evolving threat landscape. The event aims to encourage organisations to look beyond today’s cybersecurity challenges, strengthen their resilience and better prepare for future advanced threats.

Co-organised by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force, the Digital Policy Office (DPO), and Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) as a strategic partner, the ” Ethical Phishing Email and SMS Campaign 2026″ cordially invites organisations to join hands in building a strong defence against phishing attacks.

The Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) is organising a series of four free Cantonese webinars for SMEs, with one webinar held each month from August to November 2026.

The Principal of TWGHs Kwok Yat Wai College will share practical advice drawn from his extensive experience in education, exploring with parents how to cultivate children's digital literacy to establish a healthy mindset of "smart utilisation without over-reliance".

"Unpacking Fake News and Disinformation: Spotting the Truth, Staying Calm" will explore common types of fake news found online. The seminar will also show parents how to guide their children in verifying information sources and developing thoughtful, discerning habits, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the age of AI. 

In the Knowledge Sharing Event organised by Cloud Security Alliance Hong Kong & Macau Chapter on October 22, Ms Carmen Wong, Solutions Engineer at TrendAI, will discuss the following topics: AI-Powered Vulnerability Growth, Virtual Patching in Practice and Enterprise Risk Scale.
