The Scheme aims to recognise organisations for their commitment to strengthening cyber security and enhancing staff awareness. This year, the Scheme introduces a new “Education Stream”, covering primary schools, secondary schools, universities, and other higher education institutions. The award encourages participation from educational organisations to collectively raise cyber security awareness within the academic community and across society.

The "HKCT × HKtag SHIELDtag Cybersecurity Challenge 2026" extends the initiative to secondary school students. The competition aims to provide a safe and structured environment where students can learn fundamental cybersecurity concepts and gain hands‑on experience. Our focus is on learning: helping students spark interest, build awareness, and develop basic skills that will support their growth in an increasingly digital world.
